Friday’s sessions (convene @ 1:00pm) will include a comparison of existing PAR programs, which will be meant to help those interested in learning more about how to negotiate PAR in your district. We will also analyze how time is used in the high school day and the corresponding instructional strategies needed to make better use of student learning time. These will be great sessions to invite administrators, policy makers, and other school officers too.
Saturday’s sessions will focus on updating the SW TURN message, framing the message of your local and preparing responses for those who might oppose your efforts. We will also update what is going on in the South West Region, and have time to share what different unions are doing (adjourn @ 3:00pm)
