Southwest TURN Conference November 2017

November 3-4, 2017

Our next Southwest TURN Conference is set for November 3-4, 2017 in Denver, CO. Southwest TURN works to bring together educators and education supporters to examine programs, policies and practices that impact teaching effectiveness and student learning, and to develop collaborative partnerships to improve teacher effectiveness and student learning through effective strategies to meet all student’s needs.

WHEN: November 3, 2017, 1:00pm-5:00pm. Registration begins at noon (lunch provided) November 4, 2017: 8:30am-3:00pm

WHERE: Warwick Denver, 1776 Grant Street, Denver, CO 80203

WHO: Union and teacher leaders, school and district administration, school board members, state leaders, and community partners.

Hotel Accommodations: A block of rooms has been reserved at the Warwick Denver, 1776 Grant Street, Denver, CO at a cost of $175 plus taxes and fees per room per night. To make hotel reservations, call 1-800-525-2888 and ask for the SW TURN room block. The room block cutoff date is October 11, 2017.

As is our custom, we offer a stipend to assist with travel expenses for teachers and administrators- up to $500 for 1 person, $1200 for 2 or more.
